This website and The Calm Parent's Guide to Hard Conversations (the "Guide") are provided by Nicolás Vela, a sole individual trading as The Calm Parent ("we", "us"). When you purchase or use the Guide, you are entering into an agreement with Nicolás Vela.
By accessing this site, purchasing the Guide, or continuing to use either, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase the Guide. You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement, and that any information you provide at checkout is accurate.
The Guide is a digital PDF for parents and caregivers, delivered by email as a private download link after payment is confirmed. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Guide for your personal, household use. You may read it and print it for your own family.

The Guide, this website, and all related text, design, and branding remain the property of Nicolás Vela. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
We aim to keep the site and download links available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Guide is provided "as is", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Guide and to download links in the event of material breach of these terms, non-payment or a reversed payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where a purchase is refunded or charged back, the associated download link is revoked.
The Guide is an educational resource for parents. It is not medical, psychological, or legal advice, and is not a substitute for professional counselling or therapy. If your child is in crisis or at risk, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Guide is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
We may update or improve the Guide over time; you retain access to the version you purchased and any free updates we release. We may also update these terms, and the version published on this page applies to your use of the site.
These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's place of residence, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your own country.
